Hi, my name is Ditteke and I live in sunny Miami. I am the artist and designer behind Dpoppen’s creative products, were our focus is on whimsical wearable art. I am attracted to vibrant colors and find it challenging to combine them harmoniously in a fun whimsical way. I also love to paint children, because I relate to their innocence and open-minded view of the world. For most of my life, talented and successful artists surrounded me. These same individuals encouraged me to embrace my creative side and to share my designs with the world. Accordingly, I established Dpoppen (Dpoppen: stands for my first name Ditteke and poppen, which is the Dutch name for dolls) in 2007 and later launched my first product line. Printing my art onto fine quality fabrics has been a dream come true, especially when so may smiles are created.
